2025 - Issue 3 - Winter

I won't even mention the lateness of this one, lets just move along - nothing to mention here!

The prospect of a cold early start wasn't appealing this winter, so I didn't catch that many early mornings. I did try and get some of that evening light, to make up for it and to keep shooting.

of course Tom Myers snagged viral wave number two, in what has been an epic winter for him, and is testament to the hours he's put in out at the Bombie. His air drop wave from 2021 is still on my insta feed. I've manage to miss both waves, something for me to work on for next winter. I did manage to see some of the left over swell on the Wednesday (after wave number 2 on Tuesday), and as I was leaving I could see Tom heading out to the Bombie once again. I managed to get a few shots in the limited time that I had.

Early morning in September were also elusive, staying up late and supporting my other half in her circus quest, plenty of shows and late night training culminating in 2 nights at Sydney Fringe Festival as part of the 50Up Circus troope.

I did squeeze in a water session, unfortunately the conditions weren't the best. Freshies banks seem somewhat weird at the moment and I'm hoping that the sand gets move around soon.
